Low cost airline, bmibaby, is pleased to announce it intends to operate 100 per cent of its flights on Friday 23 April 2010 from its four UK bases – East Midlands, Manchester, Cardiff and Birmingham Airport. bmibaby will operate 84 flights today to 22 European destinations.
Just hours after the ban on flying within UK airspace was lifted on Wednesday (21 April 2010), bmibaby operated 20 additional flights to Spain and Portugal to help repatriate stranded passengers, as well as operating a number of scheduled services to Scotland and Amsterdam.
The airline intends to operate its full schedule over the weekend.
Safety is, and continues to be bmibaby’s number one priority and the planned schedule may be subject to change. Customers are advised to check http://www.bmibaby.com/ before departing for the airport.

bmibaby continue to provide frequent communication to customers by regularly updating the website and bmibaby Twitter feed (@bmibaby_com), extending call centre opening hours, increasing call centre staff numbers and the airline also opened an additional temporary call centre.
Any passengers who were booked to travel on one of the cancelled flights can transfer to the next available flight free of charge within 21 days of the original flight date, subject to availability.
